Dear all,
The International Research Training Group (IGK 2495) “Energy Conversion Systems: From Materials to Devices” at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (DE) offers 12 doctoral researcher positions for various projects related to electro-mechanical and electro-optical energy harvesting systems, including material synthesis, characterization, device integration, and material simulation. We seek highly motivated doctoral researchers with an MSc, or equivalent, in materials science, chemistry, mechanical engineering, physics, mathematics, geosciences, or electrical engineering. 


In particular, we are looking for a highly motivated doctoral researcher to work on the project:

“Formulation and Crystallization of Perovskite Bearing Glass-Ceramics for Light Management”


Application Deadline: July 17, 2022
Doctoral researchers will work closely with various partners in both Germany and Japan, necessitating teamwork and interpersonal skills. An extended research stay (3 to 12 months) at our partner institute (Nagoya Institute of Technology, Japan) is expected. Proficient oral and written communication skills in English are required.

The salary is according to German standard (E13 TL-V). All positions will be for 3 years.
